You do not have to memorize 78 cards before you can enjoy a reading: TarotGuide presents the symbolism, the spread position, and the interpretation together, so beginners and experienced readers both get something useful out of five minutes. How a Reading Works

1. Ask a question. Write your question in your own words, or pick one of the suggested prompts. Clear, specific questions produce far better readings than broad ones.
2. Choose a spread. Pick One Card, Three Card, Five Card, Seven Card, Celtic Cross, or another layout from the spread guide, based on how much detail you want.
3. Draw your cards. Shuffle and draw in the browser. Each card lands in a named position, so the reading has a real structure rather than a random pile of images.
4. Read the AI interpretation. You get a written reading that connects each card to its position and to your question, rather than a list of keywords.
5. Ask follow-up questions. You can go deeper on a specific card or point, which is often where the most useful part of the session shows up.
6. Keep a record. Saved readings let you return to the same question weeks later and see how your thinking changed.

How We Write Card Meanings

Card meanings on TarotGuide are written from the traditional tarot system, not invented on the spot. Each of the 78 cards has a fixed core meaning that stays consistent everywhere it appears.

Upright and reversed meanings are written separately. Reversed cards are a change in emphasis and direction rather than automatic bad news, which is how experienced readers use them.

Meanings are also written by context. Love, career, finances, and health each get their own reading of a card, because the Two of Cups in a relationship question and the Two of Cups in a salary negotiation are not the same message. The AI readers draw on these same foundations, so a chat reading and a card page will not contradict each other.
